Prior to starting LandWorks, Jerry spent 25 years as a land manager in the mining and oil and gas industries. Ten of those years were spent as the North American Land Manager for Phillips Petroleum Company. Jerry, a graduate of Fresno State University, is a recognized expert in all aspects of land-related business processes. While at Phillips, he managed a department of 150 land professionals responsible for all phases of land acquisition, divestiture, drilling join ventures, land records management and land asset mapping. Since founding LandWorks in 1995, Jerry has:
- Designed and directed development of the company’s database and GIS applications for managing any type of land right in any industry.
- Successfully marketed and implemented such applications at more than 120 organizations in 8 industries and 4 countries.
- Designed and directed development of a suite of land mapping tools superior to those offered by Esri.
- Built one of the largest GIS land mapping service staffs in the U.S.
Chief Technology Officer
Oleg oversees LandWorks’ development of new technologies. A graduate of the Technological Academy in Voronezh, Russia and a Ph.D. candidate at the Russian Academy of Science in Moscow, Oleg has more than 20 years’ experience as a software engineer. He managed the move of LandWorks LPM from the old PowerBuilder solution to the new web-enabled thin client application and drove the new look and feel of LandWorks products.
