Job Description 

LandWorks Inc., a recognized leader in land management and GIS mapping software, is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team in our Houston office.

The successful candidate must 

  • Demonstrate superior interpersonal skills, work effectively with a wide variety of professionals, management, employees and vendors
  • Work independently and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills using Microsoft programs (Windows, Word and Excel) Adobe Standard and Internet
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation in composing/proofreading documents

Responsibilities include but are not limited to 

  • Answering, screening and routing telephone calls as appropriate
  • Maintaining records and filing systems
  • Working independently, proactively solving problems and knowing when to bring others in by exercising discretion, good judgment, initiative and teamwork
  • Handling necessary arrangements for domestic and international travel, meetings and conferences
  • Responsible for ordering and stocking of office and kitchen supplies
  • Other administrative duties as required

 Requirements 

  • 2 or more years’ experience in an administrative role preferred
  • College a plus
  • Must present oneself in a professional manner
  • Reliability, as demonstrated by good attendance record and punctuality

Physical Demands / Environmental Exposure   

  • Prolonged sitting for extended periods of time, and use of computer monitors, keyboard and mouse
  • Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying of items up to 11 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
  • Frequent sorting, filing, shelving and handling of documents, books, files, file drawers and related materials and equipment required for clerical operations
  • Work is performed indoors in a normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature, air conditions and noise levels

Job Description

LandWorks, Inc. is seeking a motivated Land Record Team Lead to complete a major Land project. Will lead a team of 2 – 4 Analysts in reading files and understanding land agreements as they are digitized into our proprietary software for tracking.

 Requirements

  • 4 year degree from an accredited university with a basic understanding of Land concepts, terms and practices is preferable.
  • 2 year Associates degree will be considered.
  • Skills Test to gauge data entry speed and accuracy will be required.
  • Will also take an aptitude test to gauge compatibility with the role.
  • Knowledge of land agreements and the ability to interpret land from a digital format.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team in specific tasks and projects, meet tight deadlines and produce accurate results.
