Requirements:

Job Description:

LandWorks is seeking self-motivated professionals to join its Product Implementation Team. The Product Implementation team is responsible for implementing and supporting our industry leading land asset management and GIS software. Candidate must be eager to learn new products and have a personal commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction. This position requires the ability to learn software and a desire to troubleshoot issues in a professional manner with clients and other professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes, adding value to our business, and meeting client needs
  • Install and configure proprietary land asset management systems and land asset management ESRI-based GIS applications in a timely and accurate manner in adherence with process and procedures
  • Install/create/upgrade associated SQL Server databases
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems generated by the application or during installation with little to no supervision
  • Ability to test and provide constructive feedback in improving our current processes, applications, and automated installation tools
  • Ability to create and maintain knowledge base of issues and their resolutions
  • Create, update and maintain client installations summaries and documentation
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks on time with little to no supervision
  • Liaise and interact with internal and external users directly
  • Work closely with multiple project managers on implementation projects
  • Other related responsibilities may be assigned as required by the needs of the department

Requirements:

  • 4 year degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
  • B.S. in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical fields a plus
  • Hands on experience installing and configuring software in a Windows Server network/IIS environment
  • Experience with SQL Server and basic T-SQL Programming
  • General understanding of setting up and configuring Windows Server is a plus
  • General understanding of land asset management or GIS is a plus
  • General understanding of ESRI products and ArcGIS is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Extensive problem-solving skills

Physical Demands / Environmental Exposure:

  • Prolonged sitting for extended periods of time, and use of computer monitors, keyboard and mouse
  • Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying of items up to 11 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds
  • Frequent sorting, filing, shelving and handling of documents, books, files, file drawers and related materials and equipment required for clerical operations
  • Work is performed indoors in a normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature, air conditions and noise levels
